Just odds and ends that we had to post.

01-01-2024: Oshogatsu. Here's our traditional Japanese New Years feast, with ozoni, makizushi, and all the yummy things, in front of the Rose Parade on KTLA!

08-20-2023: Pre-Hurricane Hilary Hike. We took a morning rain hike on the mountain before Hurricane Hilary was due to strike, and encountered a Red Diamond Rattlesnake on the trail, coiled up to gather raoinwater to drink off its body!

01-02-2023: A quick hike. We took the dog for a walk and found a new off-leash dog park along with some nice hiking trails.

01-01-2023: New Year's Day chess tournament. Leo and Roy challenge each other to chess.
